Service-Connected Compensation Awards

_________________________________________________________________________________

Here at AVBA, our mission is to help Veterans and Surviving Spouses to learn about, understand, and if qualified, help with all required forms, necessary documents, and submit claims on their behalf. Additionally, AVBA actively monitors the entire Claims process towards a successful approval of, and being granted a fair and equitable VA Disability Rating, which in turn allows for our Veteran Clients to receive their well deserved TAX FREE monthly Service-Related Disability Compensation Award benefit.

When it comes to the Service-Connected Disabilities Compensation Award claims Category :

> Veterans are most commonly somewhat familiar with this Category

> Nearly all Veterans have either themselves experienced the frustration of their own submission and Claim Denial or,

> Know of one or more Vets who’s claims have been pending for months or even years, or, have been Claims Denied or,

> Have heard many of the horror stories about VA requesting more or newer documentation, re-asking for forms or documents assuredly already submitted – often multiplicatively, full submission packages repeatedly lost, and generally, the RED TAPE  so commonly experienced in any dealings with the Government.

Here is an extremely useful, easy to use Service-Connected Disability Compensation Award Calculator. With it, every Veteran or Surviving Spouse can view an accurate display of the monetary payouts that may be anticipated arising from a VA APPROVED, Service-Connected Disability Compensation Award.

NOTE 1 : Some Veterans may have 2 or more already Rated or Rateable Service-Connected Disability Conditions ~ Box # 1 in the Calculator allows for the choice of one or multiple conditions !

NOTE 2 : If you do not have a Disability Rating or Ratings yet, NO PROBLEM ! Just ” Test Out ” one or more choices of Ratings Percentages to view probable monthly award amounts for VA Awarded Vets Calculator’s rates are current and accurate commensurate with the correctness / accuracy of the Ratings Percentages entered.

3 Major Categories of Veterans’ Benefits

_________________________________________________________________________________

There are 3 MAJOR CATEGORIES of benefits for Veterans and they are :

1. Service-Connected Disability Compensation awards

2. Non-Service-Connected Pension awards

3. Length of military Service Retirement Pensions

American Veterans’ Benefits Alliance handles Category 1 and Category 2 claims. In this section of our site we speak about Category 1 ~ Service-Connected Disability Compensation awards.

3. In cases of prior Claim Approval but where the VA may have assigned a possibly improper, inaccurate or unfair “ Low Disability Rating ” and thus, a correspondingly low monthly compensation payout, AVBA seeks to re-submit certain claims which our highly experienced expert staff and our Accredited Claims Agent painstakingly review and scrutinized. After conferring, and where they reach consensus, AVBA undertakes the improvement and re-completion of some prior forms / documents felt to have caused the prior “ Low Disability Rating ”. With this thoroughly reinforced, strengthened and possibly documentationally augmented Claim Submission package, AVBA re-submits with the intent of having the VA significantly increase the Veteran’s Disability Rating / monthly Compensation award and significantly improving our Veteran Clients monthly income…
